Meet the Murray’s
Twenty-five years ago, Tom and Nancy Murray, had the adventure of starting their own farm, Muranda Holsteins. They have had excellent quality Holsteins and Jerseys both in the show ring and for milk production. Nancy works off the farm at a local bank. Tom and Nancy have had three kids Dan, Blane, and Kendra, and they all helped on the farm growing up. When their middle son, Blane, graduated from Cornell he wanted to come home and run the dairy farm. The family decided to diversify the business and joined the cheese business. They have been aging and selling the cheese for eight years, and have won numerous awards for their delicious cheese. In their spare time, which is not very much, they enjoy seeing their kids and grandchild.
Dan is the oldest and when he graduated from Cornell University he decided to work off of the farm in the finance business.
Blane is the middle child and after he graduated from Cornell he decided to come home and take over the family farm. He is married to his wife Mary and has a two year old son and a little girl on the way. He runs the dairy portion of the farm while Tom runs the cheese company.
